What’s free, and what uses credit
- Free, with no account: meetings of any length, documents up to 5 pages, making PDFs from scans, and reading the text on scans up to 5 pages.
- Longer documents: ₹0.50 a page to read, then each answer at what it actually costs us (usually ₹0.10–₹0.35); translation, when a language needs it, at cost.
- Reading the text on longer scans: ₹0.50 a page.
- “At cost” means what our AI provider, Sarvam AI, charges us for that piece of work, rounded up to the next paisa. If their prices change, ours change with them; the price is always shown before you use credit.
Your account
You sign in with your Google account. Keep that account secure — anyone who can use it can use your Varanan credit. One person, one account.
Credit
- Paying ₹20 gives you ₹20 of credit. Top-ups are from ₹20 to ₹5,000.
- Credit never expires. It can’t be transferred to someone else and has no cash value, except as our refund policy allows.
- An answer’s cost is only known once it has been given, so the last answer can take your balance a few paise below zero. The next top-up covers that first, and nothing new starts while the balance is below zero.
- Every top-up and every charge is on the statement in your account.
Using Varanan properly
- Only upload what you have the right to. Recording a meeting usually means telling the people in it.
- Nothing unlawful, and nothing that tries to overload, probe or get around how the service works.
- Minutes and answers are written by AI and can be wrong. Answers point to the page they came from — check anything that matters against the original before relying on it.
Your content
What you upload stays yours. We use it only to do what you asked, keep it only as long as the privacy policy says, and never use it to train AI.
If something goes wrong
We work hard to keep Varanan running but can’t promise it will never be down. If we ever stop offering paid features, unused credit is refunded. Our responsibility to you for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the three months before it. These terms are governed by the laws of India.
Changes, and reaching us
If these terms change, this page changes with them and the date above moves. Credit you already hold keeps the terms it was bought under.
